(From i-D interview, April 09) Started working in 1987 when she was 17 in Adelaide. Grew up in a traveling circus in Australia. Can ride a unicycle, can juggle, can perform a bit on the trapeze. Moved to London in the early 90's. Started working with Robert Erdmann, David Sims, Melanie Ward, Guido, Dick Page. Cut and bleached her hair to look like David Bowie.

Favorite designers of that period (90's) Ann Demeulemeester, Marc Jacobs, Jean Colonna, Kostas Murkudis. Currently a mother of 2 boys and living in Australia. Rides horses.
